Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Demo Now Hacking and Slashing Dracula's Minions on Xbox Live

While gamers will have a chance to battle the dark forces of evil in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow tomorrow, a demo for the franchise's retail, high-def debut is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

As usual, only Xbox Live Gold Members have the ability to download the game trial, which is available everywhere except Japan and Korea.

Developed by MercurySteam in association with Kojima Productions, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in standard and limited edition flavors. A demo for the game is currently available to PlayStation 3 users in Europe.

This game is soooo boring. I was really excited for it but it ended up being one of the worst hyped games in a long time.

I figured having boobs it would own, game did not own.

I wonder if it's the same demo as the E3 demo build on EU PSN. It's pretty short, showcasing basic combat and horseback riding, but it does show combat gameplay potential (as moves are unlocked/bought via xp). Hopefully enemy attacks are varied enough that players will find one approach more effective than another, etc and not allow you to one trick pony your way to the end. That's all I ask in my hack-and-slashers. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. :[

I did a real quick comaprison on my HDTV. Grant it in order to see the different consoles on my TV I had to do a Signal Output switch back and forth, but I dont think I noticed any differences. However, its hard to tell because of that Rain level.
