Gran Turismo 5 Dynamic Weather Revealed in TGS Media Blast
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 17, 2010 5:51am PDTPolyphony Digital has unveiled a whole host of new Gran Turismo 5 information at the Tokyo Game Show, showing everything from a dynamic weather system and new versions of old GT tracks to a drivable amphibious car and Volkswagen Samba Bus.
"Factors like temperature, pressure and humidity are all calculated to help simulate weather conditions that change dynamically," Polyphony explains, which will naturally affect car performance.
Veteran Gran Turismo series tracks Trial Mountain Circuit and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will return "rebuilt from scratch to drastically improve their quality," says PD.
Gran Turismo 5 is due out exclusively for PlayStation 3 on November 5. No, really.

I'm sure Turn10 is already working on Forza 4 as we speak. Maybe if Forza 4 and GT6 come out at the same time that will be a fair comparison. But, comparing two racing games with completely different development times and release dates over a a year apart is kind of silly.
I've played Forza3 quite a bit and a lot of the features in GT5 are pretty sweet, does it make Forza any less of a racing game? Nah, it's really fun. I'm sure GT5 will be really fun as well.
