Import Guitar Hero: Metallica into New Guitar Hero; Free for One Week Following Launch

When Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock releases on September 28, owners of Guitar Hero: Metallica will be able to import 39 of the game's 49 songs. If the import is done within one week, it will be free on the PS3 or Xbox 360. Wii owners will have to pay.

After the promotional offer, the import will run you $6 across all three platforms, which includes the Wii version. The import tool will be sold as DLC in the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Marketplace, and Wii Shop Channel.
