Assassin's Creed Brotherhood PC Delayed Until 2011
by Brian Leahy, Sep 09, 2010 6:40pm PDTIn a forum post detailing the beginning of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer beta for Europe (Oct. 4, by the way), it appears that the PC version of the has been delayed.
"Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is scheduled to release on November 18th 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be available on PC in Q1 2011." Note, the November 18th date discussed for the console versions is the European release date. It will be released in the US on November 16. The PC versions of the franchise's previous games have also lagged behind the console counterparts.
Those of you pre-ordering the game at GameStop in the US or anywhere in Europe will be granted access to the beta on September 13 and October 4, respectively.
Since the forum post explicitly discusses the European market, Shacknews has contacted Ubisoft to determine if the same PC delay is applicable in the US and other territories.

Ubisoft has lost all credibility lately, and at the same time they give us a kick in the nuts with their DRM, they make good games, but they end up screwing it up for pc players.
And well i see this game comming no sooner than mid 2011, and probably it will come in the end of 2011.

Was gonna rent it or burrow it anyway. I've had my 360 now for at least 4 years, and I have yet to purchase a game. I think its awesome that 360 games are so easy to come by. Walk down to buddy's office, "Yo, you got that 360 game? Yep? Cool. thxbro. Give it back to you in a week.".
I only buy PC games; my steam library has over 200 games. Too bad by early 2011 I'll be bored of the game and probably won't purchase it since i already played it for free.
DX11 or 10 great I am all for it, but to delay it and just sport a port this pisses me off.
Damn it I almost want to release my first game on the PC first and punish 360 owners so that they get it second. Still I do not want to hti that low because its just not cool.
