Demos for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 Hit Xbox Live Today
by Brian Leahy, Sep 07, 2010 10:40am PDTActivision sends word that playable demos for its two upcoming music games, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2, are "now available" on Xbox Live--though the DJ Hero 2 demo is not yet online. Expect them to be live sometime today, however.
The Guitar Hero demo packs four playable tracks within the game's Quest Mode, narrated by KISS' Gene Simmons. They are:
- Black Sabbath - "Children of the Grave"
- Foo Fighters - "No Way Back"
- Slash featuring Ian Astbury - "Ghosts"
- Dethklok - "Bloodlines"
On the DJ Hero 2 side, players will be able to experience four mixes "through various gameplay tutorials, QuickPlay and all-new multiplayer modes including Accumulator and DJ Battle." They are:
- Pussycat Dolls Featuring Busta Rhymes "Don't Cha" Mixed With Pitbull "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)"
- Lady Gaga Featuring Colby O'Donis "Just Dance" Mixed With Deadmau5 "Ghosts N Stuff"
- MSTRKRFT Featuring N.O.R.E. "Bounce" (Battle Mix)
- Estelle Featuring Kanye West "American Boy" Mixed With Chic "Good Times"
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will be released on September 28 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. DJ Hero 2 will launch on October 19 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. Demo download does not include plastic instruments or turntables. Let us know if you spot the DJ Hero 2 demo.
