The flashback to events before the movie proper was awesome. The part when the main character escaped from the house that got overrun. That scene was awesome. Other parts I liked was the merciless military commander, Rose Byrne, chemical weapons, napalm, and Rose Byrne.
There were some incredibly stupid parts just to progress the movie. Like, the guy who has access to EVERYTHING, Kids being fucking stupid even for my tastes (having kids rarely helps a serious movie), putting all the civilians into the basement with another way in for infected to get inside the base and infecting all the doods (they couldn't have locked them in their quarters to isolate the expansion of infections?, bringing the infected Mom into the base completely unguarded, and where did that helo fly to make shit happen like that, why not fly to another military base across the channel?
