What possess someone to not surrender when youv've clearly lost? I just had a game take almost two hours (reported not actual) because i'd contained a turtle Terran to the point where he'd mined out his 3 expansions and I held the rest of the map. His last attempt to break the contain hurt my economy pretty well but I still had drones and there were minerals left on the map. He'd built a ton of static defenses around his choke with bunkers and tanks but had no where near enough to win the game.
The asshole then proceeds to say he can't surrender due to pride and that he's gonna grab chips and watch me chip away at his base. He'd been a decent opponent until then but his refusal to gg was pretty shitty. I didn't give him the satisfaction of a bunch of tears --just made it clear he was a douche and had a smoke while zerging his base up.
I hate people sometimes.
