Trials HD Dev Announces MotoHeroz for WiiWare

RedLynx, the developer behind the insanely challenging Trials HD on Xbox Live Arcade, has announced MotoHeroz for Nintendo's WiiWare channel.

MotoHeroz is described as a "side-scrolling, platfom racing game" that incorporates rally racing, chasing, and coin-collecting. The game will contain a single-player adventure and a local party mode for two to four players, and online Leader Boards. MotoHeroz will also incorporate a daily online competition, in which players can vie for leaderboard supremacy while racing on new online tracks.

MotoHeroz will include four different cars and over one hundred different tracks when it's released, which (according to the press release) is in "2010/2011."

On the one hand I'm happy RedLynx is making stuff. On the other hand I'm sad it's not Trials HD 2.

Looks like it was programmed with the Lemmings or Worms HD level editor. I'm a big Trials fan, so I'll give this a fair shot, though I hope it retains at least some of the difficulty curve and skill required to play Trials 2/HD.
