Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Available on Mac

BioWare has announced, via Twitter, that Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening is finally available for Mac gamers. A copy of the Mac version of the original Dragon Age: Origins is required.

BioWare has listed two sources to obtain a digital copy: GamersGate and GameTreeOnline, both of which sell the original title for Mac as well. Steam still does not carry the Mac version of the game or its expansion.

The expansion will run you $29.95.

I agree, I was really hoping that the announcement of SteamPlay would mean that Dragon Age and Chronicles of Riddick and Bioshock and some of the other games that have been showing up for Mac would show up. Hopefully what Valve said about SteamPlay not taking off until next year is just their way of saying that they have to wait until the contracts regarding those titles expire and they can bring them to the platform.
