No Digital Release for PSP Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

PSPGo is just a test if people are going to buy some digital stuff, and they/ we are, actually. So next PSP is going to be only digital, and on launch it's going to have a very solid count of titles thanks to PSPGo and associated digital PSP games, Minis, etc.
That's goin' to be hell of a launch :-D (And it would be great to have emulation of controls, especially in FPS/ TPS- emulation of second analog stick.)

This is why I don't own a GO. I own 2 PSPs and they are both UMD. I'd be happy to support the GO if it wasn't such a clusterf*ck of lameness.

The PSPGo is a fucking mess. They should have put that effort towards a new system.

If Sony were smart they should make digital releases mandatory, this is bullshit. I don't own a PSP or PSPgo but I've been thinking about getting one and would really like the Go if it weren't for shit like this.

So funny. I can hear the cries of PSPgo owners everywhere as they now wonder why they paid a premium for the version with the smaller screen, no UMD drive, and less games that cost more than the UMD versions.

Sony already acknowledged that they aren't supporting PSPGo when they kept on releasing special edition PSP 3k's for MGS:PW and the upcoming God of War. How much more notice does a person need? PSPGo was an experiment that failed miserably and they want people to forget about it, but they can't outright end it so soon or investors will be unhappy.

So they'll keep making a few and retailers will keep putting them on sale, lower and lower, hoping a few schmucks will be lured into the Sony Dam of Large Cost. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be in the PSP 3k Promised Land where you can get the best of the Sony DLC and the best of the Untamed Market of Discounts. If there's a deal for a PSP game at Amazon, Gamestop (used), or Walmart, you can buy it. No restrictions.

I'm not against digital-only consoles, but I am against versions that are positioned to cost more (both in hardware and software) than a version that offers less features yet costs significantly more.

Personaly I am against this Digital media movement. I'm a hardcore gamer and as a gamer and collector the whole option of D/L games misses out on many things: no case, artbook, manual physical disc. Plus nowadays internet compagnies limit download to a certain amount, so you pay for your game but let say you bust you D/l limit you have to pay extra per mbits.
Anyway it is my opinion, I am proud about S-E that they arent going into this hole Digital crap. But i would say that releasing PSX titles of games that arent available anymore is fine by me although it lowers the value of th original copy. so yeah i still need to think asbout it . Love you S-E

what a fucking stupid decision. Not that I was planing to buy that but this might explain why i'm still waiting for Final Fantasy Tactics PSP to be released on PSN

Actually Brian, Square Enix has released very few of their PSP offerings to the PSN store.

Notably, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions is still missing, along with Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II. In fact, *none* of their other UMD offerings have been released on the PSN store.

Granted, I'd love to know why as well...they're pretty much just denying themselves profit. I know I'd buy FFT again at least to curb the loading-from-disc issues it had.
