OFLC Rates Forza 3 'Ultimate Collection'
by Xav de Matos, Aug 24, 2010 7:15am PDTIf an OFLC listing is to be believed, Microsoft is poised to re-release an "Ultimate Collection" of its popular, first-part racing title.
Yesterday, Joystiq spotted a listing on the Australian rating board's website for Forza 3: Ultimate Collection. Presumably, the re-release would include most, if not all of the game's numerous downloadable content "packs." According to the listing, the game was submitted for classification on August 19, 2010.
Forza Motorsport 3, developed by Turn 10 Studios, was originally released on October 27, 2009, exclusively for the Xbox 360. With Gran Turismo 5 finally crossing the retail finish line (we swear!), the re-release of Microsoft's racing title would ensure that Sony wouldn't be the only first-party racing title terrorizing the track this holiday season.
Retailers have yet to list the collection. Shacknews has contacted Microsoft for comment on a possible re-release of Forza 3 but have not heard back at the time of publishing.

I'd love to have an all-in-one DLC pack for a significantly reduced price, but that still sucks for anyone who bought, say, half of the DLC in the first place.
It seems like this should be accompanied by a reduced DLC cost across the board for those who want to fill out their DLC without feeling like ramming a dildo up their ass.
