Mass Effect 2 DLC 'Lair of the Shadow Broker' Coming to PC and Xbox 360 on Sept. 7 for $10

You didn't think Commander Shepard and Co. were done ridding the galaxy of scum, did you?

Bioware has revealed the latest downloadable quest for its critically and commercially acclaimed RPG title Mass Effect 2 would launch on September 7 for 800 Microsoft and Bioware points. (On Planet Earth that is equal to $10.)

Mass Effect 2 "Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC

Originally announced in July, the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" content will feature Mass Effect alum Liara T'Soni as she tracks down the nefarious Shadow Broker to his (or her) lair. (Didn't see that coming, did you?)

Along with new achievements the content promises players will have the opportunity to "continue a relationship with Liara." That's going to be an awkward conversation when she finds out we totally hooked up with another alien... or that lady from Chuck.

$10 is a lot when you consider that you can get ME2 for $30 now. I suppose it will be worth it if the content is good enough.

Glad they're doing these, but $10 is pushing it considering the great downloadable games you can buy for $10-15. But I suppose dedicating people to produce high quality dlc ain't cheap.

I was gonna buy this DLC, but...$10 is kinda pricey, weird to me that $7 is not but that $10 really is. Might wait for reviews first on this one.

Looking unlikely they'll ever package all DLC into one discount bundle, since they keep rolling out with more. Still, I'm hoping they go on sale at some point so I can pick them all up and play at once like an expansion.
