Torchlight II is scheduled to be released "initially as a digital download" on PC in spring 2011, followed by a Mac edition a bit later.

A lot of things was horrible in Torchlight. The biggest issues was the really un-creative different difficult settings and the talent trees. HOW can people think the talent trees were anywhere NEAR polished and though out? It feels like someone thought "Oh shit I forgot, we need TALENTS as well, I'll write those over my lunchbreak.".

I picked up the first one for 5 dollars on steam and it was worth every cent and more. I will definitely get the second one on release day regardless of the price.

I know they've already announced other features, but one unfamiliar with the background might get the idea that in Torchlight II, the only thing they had to fix was adding MP. According to the quotes, that's all that was wrong with the first game.
