Today the magazine--which first revealed the title in a cover story--reported that Portal 2 would hit stores on February 9, 2011. The confirmation, the report says, comes from Valve at Gamescom 2010. We've also reached out the Valve to confirm that the date is accurate.
Additionally, the report notes that the British robot companion Wheatley--featured in trailers for the game--will be voiced by The Office co-creator and podcast funnyman, Stephen Merchant. We can only assume that the character model of the game's protagonist will be changed, to ensure her head is as round as possible.
Portal 2 will be released in PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Mac flavours.
