Report: F.E.A.R. 3 Delayed Until 2011
by Brian Leahy, Aug 16, 2010 5:30pm PDTAccording to a report by Destructoid, Warner Bros. and Day 1 Studios' F.E.A.R. 3 has been delayed until 2011.
While Warner Bros. would not be more specific than "2011", retailers are now listing the game for an April 2011 release. The reason behind the delay is unknown, but there are usually only two possibilities: either the game isn't going to be ready or it's a strategic move to avoid the busy Holiday release schedule.
Our latest look at the game came during E3, when Warner Bros. released this trailer.

Publishers know its coming, but then when the time gets closer and the game they have is clearly going to suck, they get skittish and push it off a few months to give Call of Duty a wide berth.
Wish they'd just release their games. No reason to be skittish. Its going to sell well or sucktastic, regardless of whether it comes at the same time as Call of Duty. Unless every publisher is just going to give up Christmas forever. In which case, I wish they'd just plan for that ahead of time.
