  Seriously I never doubted I was going to buy Fallout New Vegas.. but HOLY SHIT those screens look fuckin' terrible. The mountain scene is laugh-tastic and the rest of them are devoid of detail other than halfway sharp texture. But LOOK at the human models. How horribly old school boxy they look. And they texture on the guy with the helmet and machete with something wrapped around his left arm look at how pixellated and off the texture seem is. It's fuckin' awful. I know the game will most likely have solid gameplay. Maybe... look at how jacked Alpha Protocol was. And don't you dare tell me that game had solid mechanics underlying everything else. Everything else made the game, even my MOM who knows SHIT about animations walked by and laughed at the way Michael Thorton crouches. Then you get into the reskinned weapon boxes in every bland hideout and level layouts straight from an Xbox/PS2 game with squared and linear areas. You can see the potential but the reality fucked it in the ass.
  
  I hope Fallout NV is different. I lived in Vegas for a year and a half and would love to romp around in a game version of it, minus landmarks but just the feeling of adventuring like F3 would be amazing. As it is, every preview up to now said this was a dead buy. I don't want to base it off graphics alone... but damn, if Bethesda has exclusive access to Tech 5 get ON it... This looks like shit compared to Rage.
