Microsoft Replacing Alan Wake DLC Codes for Those that Redeemed Too Early

Now that "The Signal", the first DLC pack for Alan Wake included with all new purchases, is up on Xbox Live Marketplace, some users are finding out that they cannot access the content if he or she redeemed their code before the DLC was available.

To fix this, Remedy has said (via Joystiq) that "Microsoft will be sending out new codes to you via your email on XBL," though no timing has been revealed.

If you were hit by this timing-based nuisance, keep an eye on the e-mail tied to your Xbox Live account and wait patiently.

Strange, i remember trying to redeem that code when the game came out and it just refused it. I never got a video or anything. It worked fine today though, so maybe it doesn't apply for the UK?
