Morning Discussion
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 16, 2010 5:00am PDTHello again, Internet. I'm properly back from the Develop 2010 conference now. It was jolly nice. A lot was awfully interesting and I'll have more to share over the next few days. What day is today? Not sure. Probably doesn't matter. Lovely people, just lovely.
Now to see how quickly I can read 471 e-mails and skim several thousand RSS items.

Some of the James Bond movies have titles that are sort of phrases, like
The World Is Not Enough
Tomorrow Never Dies
Live and Let Die
You Only Live Twice
Never Say Never Again (yeah I know, doesn't really count)
And then others have more regular names like
GoldenEye
Moonraker
Casino Royale
Thunderball
When Monolith wanted to do a James Bond send-up game they called it No One Lives Forever, which sounds like something from the first group above.
My question is - is there a proper term for the names in the first group?

Tomorrow Never Dies == I can last all night
Live and Let Die == To fuck, or not to fuck?
You Only Live Twice == I got lucky when I forgot to use a condom once
Never Say Never Again == I'm the man and when I say we're going to do we're going to do it you hear me RAAARARGHGH! *goes all mace and rapes things*
