Evening Reading
by Brian Leahy, Jul 06, 2010 5:00pm PDTArmA II continues to impress me, especially when I fail missions only to have the game continue and add objectives to the following mission based upon my utter failure. That's some awesome gameplay right there, folks.
July is a bit of a quiet month for game releases until the end, which brings StarCraft II and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Now, you're probably on board for the first one. That's okay, but BB:CS is quite awesome and is a great niche fighting game to play in between streaks of Super Street Fighter IV.

I've got a 4890 with fully up to date drivers. Tried reinstalling the game already. Tried turning everything graphical off and forcing vsync on in the ini and in the ATI Catalyst Control Center.
People suggested my graphics card was overheating. I dunno what's normal but according to the CCC it's idling at ~59C and after alt-tabbing out of Borderlands it was up to 73C at most. But I tried with Crysis and it showed over 70C when I alt-tabbed out of that but Crysis has no issues like this :(
