Mafia 2 Dev Diary Showcases "Empire Bay"
by Xav de Matos, Jul 06, 2010 9:15am PDTOn Friday, 2K Czech released a developer diary video that went behind the scenes of its upcoming open-world "Cosa Nostra" sim, Mafia II. The primary focus of the video is the detail that went behind creating Empire Bay, the city Mafia II takes place in. Covering "10 square miles," Empire Bay is "roughly" twice the size of the city featured in the original title in series.
Throughout the course of the game, players will watch the city evolve from from a bleak post-World War II 1940s to a booming 1950s. Of course, a bigger city means more hiding spots for all the bodies players are sure to compile in an attempt to rise to power.Mafia II is scheduled to hit the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 24, 2010.

The working poor, called the middle class ~ destroyed in the USA.
Believe it or not the 50's where better cause a man could work and sustain his family. Takes 100 people now working to buy groceries in one family or a very good job that clocks 150 g's a year...maybe.
