THQ Already Planning Homefront: London

By Brian Leahy, Jun 28, 2010 4:00pm PDT In an interview with CVG, THQ VP of core games revealed that the company has plans to take the Homefront franchise to London at some point after the 2011 release of the first game, which takes place in the war-ravaged USA following a North Korean attack and occupation.

"We've created this massive world of 2027. And it's global," said Bilson. "We haven't got there yet but you're going to see Homefront: London later on in the franchise. This is not just a game in the US." This is not an announcement of a sequel and it is safe to assume that any further games in the franchise depend on the sales of the first.

Homefront is due out in 2011 for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
