By Alice O'Connor, Jun 17, 2010 6:29pm PDT [Update: 6/18/10 - 08:07am] "I cannot confirm platforms other than PC at this point but they will be made known once they're official," Frozenbyte associate producer Joel Kinnunen has said.

[Original story]Publisher Atlus has announced that the sequel to Frozenbyte's delightful physics-based fairy tale platformer Trine will be released in spring 2011, packing online three-player co-op.

The Thief, Warrior and Wizard will return with new abilities in Trine 2's "all-new adventure," teased in screenshots, artwork and a trailer.

While Atlus did not announce which platforms Trine 2's digital release will be on, the original came out for PC and PlayStation 3 and was once planned to hit Xbox 360 too.

If you have yet to experience one of 2009's greatest games, try the Trine demo.
