Trine 2 Announced for 2011 With Online Co-op
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 17, 2010 6:29pm PDT[Update: 6/18/10 - 08:07am] "I cannot confirm platforms other than PC at this point but they will be made known once they're official," Frozenbyte associate producer Joel Kinnunen has said.
[Original story]Publisher Atlus has announced that the sequel to Frozenbyte's delightful physics-based fairy tale platformer Trine will be released in spring 2011, packing online three-player co-op.
The Thief, Warrior and Wizard will return with new abilities in Trine 2's "all-new adventure," teased in screenshots, artwork and a trailer.
While Atlus did not announce which platforms Trine 2's digital release will be on, the original came out for PC and PlayStation 3 and was once planned to hit Xbox 360 too.
If you have yet to experience one of 2009's greatest games, try the Trine demo.

Trine was a really awesome game to move around in the environments, and even though the enemies in the first one were limited, I had lots of fun finding new ways to move around and attack, and the controls were so fluid and responsive. It's nice to see a bunch of new elements added in, with the bouncing mushrooms and the chameleon.

I hope this one is a massive long epic adventure, I'd gladly pay for it. The visuals in Trine 1 were amazing, it was like being in a storybook.

Give the franchise to these guys. Make them use the mechanics from Super Castlevania 4 and everyone will be happy.
