Dead Space 2 Dated for January 2011
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 14, 2010 2:41pm PDTVisceral Games' sci-fi horror sequel Dead Space 2 will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 25, 2011, in North America, EA has announced.
Dead Space 2 will see Dead Space hero Isaac Clarke "battling dementia" as he wades through necromorphs in the abandoned "full city" of The Sprawl. Luckily, he's armed with new weapons including a javelin gun which delightfully pins enemies to the wall.
"The story of Isaac, the necromorphs and the whole Dead Space fiction has much more to reveal, said executive producer Steve Papoutsis in a press release. "Dead Space 2 adds another dimension to the complex world and characters that inhabit this universe."
The European release will follow on January 28.
