Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence' Hits PC & PS3 July 6

I am not cheap - I just feel ripped off - I bought stimulus through Steam for PC - and they already rolled it into the mix for everyone else to play for free within a few weeks - NO WAY will I pay for it again after that - I'll just wait and get the next packs for free like most people got the stimulus that I paid for like an idiot.

I have never met so many greedy people in my life as you gamers. i cannot believe how tight you all are. £10 for something you are going to get months of pleasure from if not years is a great bargain. You can spend £100 on a shit night out.
I did not just buy the Stimulus pack.....I bought it for 3 of my friends as well. Although I am not going to be as generous with the resurgence pack I am going to be one of the first on these new maps.
I know it seems greedy asking people to pay for extra maps but its an add-on that has been developed by full time developers who need to get paid.
I think also the fact that they are great, popular games make it feel even more of a bargain.

If you are under 18 and do not have the cash then I sympathise with you but it will not be that difficult to get the spare cash Im sure.

This game does not deserve to be paid again as IW has done nothing but spit in our face and allow hacking to run rampant and not lift a finger to stop it. Fuck MW2, IWNET, activision and the gay ass VAC anticheat ! As ar as I am concerned, Hats off to those coders that left IW. and i hope they sue for all the rights and win. Fuck u IWNET !!

yeah you dont have to tell me, my brothers bought it for the 360 and they're all saying that the resurgance pack is better than the stimulus. but the only problem is that im not sure if you need to have the stimulus one for the PC in order to play the resurgance pack, because i know that you dont need the stimulus in order play the resurgence on the 360

also i hope they dont fuck up the map rotation like they did with the stimulus package if you guys recall for those of you who bought it, we couldn't play the new maps with the default ones of a while. and i know it pissed off alot of people including myself

Fat change im going to pay for that crap! Paid 15 buck for the last maps and its not worth it. Im going for cod7 and im not going to spend any money on this game anymore. Glad there are developers who wont ask money for new maps.

OK perhaps calling you all greedy was un-called for, I was just trying to provoke a debate. I am a new gamer so am not familiar with "The good ole days of gaming" but these paid for DLC seem to be the way its going. Im just saying I dont think paying £50 in total for a good game and 2 further multiplayer map packs is bad at all considering the time spent and enjoyment of the game.
I suspect it must be bad seeing something that was once free no longer being free kinda like having to pay for music and films when the internet providers crack down on P2P.

Any news if this DLC will fix the server issues for MW2 on the PC? Still waiting for that to come before i concider buying the game.

Besides, $4 instead of $15, 8 new maps instead of 3 new and 2 recycled, and a much better game to boot.

This is the first time I decided not to buy a DLC map pack for a CoD game on my 360. Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Red Dead Redemption are holding my interest more than CoD:MW2. Plus the maps in the previous map pack were not very good value for the money.
