ARMA 2 Expansion Trailer Reveals Takistan Army
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 10, 2010 1:00pm PDTA new ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead trailer introduces the army native to the standalone expansion pack's fictional setting of Takistan and reveals its retro arsenal.
"The Takistani Army is equipped with a mixture of Cold-War-era equipment of both Eastern and Western bloc origin, supplied during the interregnum of 1988-91," says developer Bohemia Interactive, including FN FALs and AKS-74s plus T-34, T-55 and T-72 tanks, not forgetting Mi-24D helicopter gunships and SS-1c Scud-B missiles.
ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead will be released for PC on June 29, priced at $40, having gone gold on Monday. A $50 bundle of Arrowhead plus the original ARMA 2 will also be on sale--handy as OA "will upgrade it with the latest features and improvements."
