The E3 trailer train continues to gain momentum as IO Interactive's shooter sequel Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days hops aboard with a touching declaration of Lynch's love for his gal and shooting faces. "She'd better be fucking worth it," sneers that cad Kane.

With a visual style influenced by "documentary filmmakers and the user-generated era," Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is scheduled for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release on August 24, 2010, in North America. The European release will follow on August 27.

Never really got into the first one. The cartoony visuals (especially the bullet trails) were kind of a turn off for me. They seem to be going for a more realistic look here, so I'll probably look out of for it in the future. It was also pretty underwhelming, but they seem to have ramped things up here which is good.

I'm getting this. I don't even know why people hate the first game except for Jeff Gerstmann. But he likes Gears of War, so that shows what he knows.
At least with Alpha Protocol people are shitting on a good game for proper reasons.

I hope they use LAN or the INTERNET for coop in the second game, not splitscreen on the PC(with 1 forced to use the xbox360 controller) like in the first part.

Looking forward to this. I actually really enjoyed the first one. The end missions felt out of place though. And hopefully you can toggle the censored gore off in this one? Not the end of the world if you can't though.
