NBA 2K11 Gets Michael Jordan
by Chris Faylor, Jun 03, 2010 4:20pm PDTNot to be outdone by competitor EA SPORTS promising to "re-invent the basketball simulation videogame experience," NBA 2K series maker 2K Sports today made a basketball game announcement of its own, revealing that Hanes commercial star and basketball legend Michael Jordan will appear on the cover of NBA 2K11.
The game--expected on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PSP come October 5--"will continue to build upon the outstanding success of the NBA 2K series with continued improvements to the graphics, gameplay, signature styles and game modes seen in previous iterations," the company said in today's announcement.
Alongside the cover, Jordan will appear in-game. "I'm looking forward to getting back out onto the court, virtually," he said. "Let's hope they get my dunk from the foul line right."
