Among the "advanced set of improved gameplay additions" made to this year's iteration--due on PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PSP--is a new power bar that lets players "determine the exact strength and placement of every pass and shot," said to let balls "be spread absolutely anywhere with surgical precision."

  • something that needs to be addresses in these games is the keeper. so many issues keep it from having that real life experience. release times: usually when a ball is stopped the keeper's ability to have a quick throw or kick can make a play happen. in PES/EA the keeper catches, holds, then there is some 2 second animation wait time and the ball is released. it needs to be almost instant. the other is more diving shot stops with deflections and rebounds. fingertip saves would be another great addition. there is still a lot to be desired from these games but PES has always lead the way in innovations, EA has always been the copy cat. screw licensing, download the mods. plus the mod packs for PES done by the fans are even better quality than the paid professionals at EA.
