Shattered Horizon Free Weekend, Discount Incoming
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 02, 2010 7:10am PDTThe zero-gravity PC shooter Shattered Horizon will be free for all to play over the coming weekend via Steam, developer Futuremark Game Studio has announced, and will be discounted by 50% to $9.99 for the weekend to help turn free fun into lasting happiness.
While the multiplayer-only shooter was originally criticised for featuring only solitary firearm, the 'Firepower' update released in May added a whopping eight new weapons including a shotgun, machine gun, mining pick, railgun and grenade pistol.
Shattered Horizon's free weekend will run from 7pm EST on Thursday, June 4, until 4pm EST on Sunday, June 6. The client will be available for pre-loading from this evening.

Use more open platforms and I might be interested but I'll be damned if I pay for a glorified tech-demo from a company that is bound and determined to undermine all of the gains in open API's since win95.. Glide ? PowerVR ?
you can keep you silly ragdolls.. there's more to a game than it's physics and there are better physics options to boot
