Hasbro Family Game Night 3 Bringing Clue, Mouse Trap, Twister and Other Board Games to Consoles

by Chris Faylor, May 12, 2010 7:40am PDT

After listing Hasbro Family Game Night 3 in its upcoming release schedule, publisher Electronic Arts has offered up a few more details including platforms and contents.

Due out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii between October 1 and December 31, 2010, the compilation will pack digital versions of five "popular Hasbro game brands," namely Clue, The Game of Life, Mouse Trap, Twister and Yahtzee Hands Down. As before, Mr. Potato Head will serve as your in-game host.

Both "classic and remixed versions" of the above games will be included in the retail release, which also packs offline multiplayer for up to four players. In addition, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions will include online multiplayer, with the Wii and Xbox 360 iterations enabling players to bring their Miis and Avatars into the game.

No details were provided as to how players will be able to "tie themselves in knots" through a digital rendition of Twister, but consider my interest pegged.
