Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow Coming to PS2
by Chris Faylor, May 03, 2010 3:00pm PDTTwo-and-a-half years after Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow hit PSP in October 2007, a PlayStation 2 edition of the stealth-action shooter is headed to retail on June 1, 2010.
Sony Bend, which developed both versions, notes that it "made some important tweaks to the controller," including "a snap button to make getting in and out of cover easier" plus the addition of "'swing out and aim' to L1 to make fighting from combat more intuitive" and word that it has "completely re-tuned the game for the extra analog stick."
As for the visuals, Sony Bend says that the PlayStation 2 edition features "up-rezed textures and effects to take advantage of the unique features of the PS2 hardware."
