Guild Wars 2 'Elementalist' Class Revealed
As in the original Guild Wars, players will be able to use a limited number of skills at once--ten this time around, though five are automatically decided by your weapon and class. Positioning will remain an important element of combat, with more involved combos between players than before.
Publisher NCsoft once had Guild Wars 2 scheduled for release in 2010 or 2011, though all ArenaNet is willing to say is that Guild Wars 2 will be out "when it's done."
Accompanying the updates are five short videos showing off a selection of the Elementalist's skills, starting with the Guild Wars fan favourite Meteor Shower.
Next up is the revamped Churning Earth.
Followed by the new Water Trident.
Then Static Field.
And finally Phoenix.
Thanks to everyone who sent in tips.

Do people still play the first one? I've always heard of this game, but never checked it out.

Not as many as when the last full expansion came out (Eye of the North). But i find, even after buying every single Guild Wars game that when summer approaches and I'm not in school, aside from work, I return to it since there is a summer revival of it among my friends. It's an MMO, without the monthly cost...and it's awesome.

Used to play the game religiously for 3 years and then my interest kind of dwindled. I still go back during the 2nd half of the year because of the festivals that they host which have awesome mini-games. The festivals occur pretty frequently after July, and usually last for a few weeks. There's one for Christmas (known as Wintersday) in July, Halloween / Thanksgiving & Christmas time.

I just started playing again...amazingly, all my characters are still kicking around, none of that Diablo 2 "log back in every 3 months to keep them alive" thing
I hadn't touched GW in years, it's actually nice to see the improvements they've made since i last played. GW is still being supported and patched on a VERY consistent basis.
