StarCraft 2 Mac Beta Begins
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 29, 2010 7:20am PDTStarCraft II beta testers can now play the much-anticipated real-time strategy sequel on Mac too, developer Blizzard has announced, simply by downloading it from Battle.net.
It's yet unknown when Blizzard will begin inviting those who applied specifically for the Mac test, though it'll no doubt be soon. Thanks to all the Mac Shackers who sent in tips.
Blizzard promises it will soon reveal the release date for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, which was still slated for the first half of this year as recently as February. Those looking for a beta key who don't feel like waiting to be picked can score one by pre-ordering StarCraft II or its $100 Collector's Edition from Amazon or GameStop.
