DarkStar One Trailer Goes Pew Pew on Xbox 360

This game looks like crap, and I remember not liking the demo on the PC years ago. If you have a PC, skip this, and get X3: Terran Conflict. It's on sale right now through steam for only $10, so no excuse.

They also just released a new patch + content update TODAY, about 1 1/2 years after release, so that shows how dedicated the team is to improving the game. Yes, it adds content, not just patching bugs. They have a lot more planned in future patches for content, so don't think that's the end of it. Also, they REMOVED ALL DRM, and today's patch also lets you add a dvd version of the game to steam!

I can't wait for Egosoft's next game...one of the big improvements of the new engine will be the long overdue multicore utilization. X3:TC runs perfectly fine on current hardware or hardware a couple years old. Just don't bother installing onto a laptop...

Overall, I enjoyed playing through this one. It was the story, more than anything, that kept me going, especially through the portions that felt repetitive.
