Free Web-Based Strategy 'Lord of Ultima' Launches
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 20, 2010 9:40am PDTLord of Ultima, EA's revival of the much-beloved RPG series Ultima as a browser-based strategy game, officially launched today.
Like most browser-based strategy games, Lord of Ultima involves building up cities and armies while trading resources, spying on enemies and building up alliances with all mod cons.
Don't just take my word for it, oh no my friend! The fine folks at developer EA Phenomic have whipped together three video walkthroughs to introduce you to the game.
The next two walkthrough trailers follow below, if you're desperate to consume anything even remotely connected to Ultima.

Some l33t Ultima Online players set out to harass all of the players who take that game way too seriously, and it's quite hilarious.

Also I don't see how a free brower based stategy game has anything to do with it. I've played the beta but it's exactly the same as all the other brower based city building games.
