Doctor Who Adventure Game Gets Release Date
by Chris Faylor, Apr 19, 2010 1:00pm PDTThe first of the free-to-play Doctor Who adventure games inspired by the popular sci-fi television series will be released on June 5, broadcaster BBC has revealed.
The first episode in the four-part PC / Mac series sees "the Doctor and Amy confronted by one of the new look Daleks in a nightmarish vision of London... in 1963."
The game itself is being handled by Sumo Digital, overseen by members of the show's writing staff and Charles Cecil, the man behind popular classic adventure games Broken Sword and Beneath a Steel Sky, serving as executive producer.
