Evening Reading: FPS Fever!
by Brian Leahy, Apr 14, 2010 5:00pm PDTThis morning, Take-Two announced that 2K Marin is developing an FPS game based upon X-COM. The outrage was palpable.
I'm willing to give 2K Marin a chance here. I'm sure this is a move meant to echo Bethesda's work with the Fallout franchise, which led to the creation of Fallout 3.
Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of Todd Howard and Bethesda's work than 2K Marin's, but we'll see what the studio can cook up.

I sold some "virtual goods" last night for $375.
The guy pulled some blatantly shady maneuvers so I was
98% sure I was getting ripped off but did it any way.
A few hours after the paypal transaction.
The two transactions now have held on them because
they guy started a claim.
My #1 piece of evidence is a chat log with timestamps.
(2:38:12 AM) Tibbetts: alright
(2:38:18 AM) Tibbetts: im sending the money as we speak
(2:38:24 AM) Tibbetts: plz keep your promise
(2:38:39 AM) Tibbetts: ok money sent
(2:38:41 AM) Tibbetts: check plz
(2:38:52 AM) Jeremy: you only sent $275 :/
(2:39:00 AM) Tibbetts: i sent the full payments as 275+100
(2:39:03 AM) Tibbetts: plz refresh
(2:39:31 AM) Tibbetts: got it?
Wouldn't paypal be able to check transaction time vs chatlog time and see that this guy is full of shit.
He split payment like that so he could say the transaction was unauthorized and try to pull it back.
