Evening Reading: FPS Fever!

This morning, Take-Two announced that 2K Marin is developing an FPS game based upon X-COM. The outrage was palpable.

I'm willing to give 2K Marin a chance here. I'm sure this is a move meant to echo Bethesda's work with the Fallout franchise, which led to the creation of Fallout 3.

Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of Todd Howard and Bethesda's work than 2K Marin's, but we'll see what the studio can cook up.

    on macs, yeah. i still prefer it to USB 2.0, FW800 has always been faster (hell even 400 felt faster) and doesn't tax the CPU nearly as much when doing heavy transfers.
