Fourth Resident Evil Movie Gets First Trailer

The first trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife, the next film inspired by the game series, has popped up on You Tube, offering a glimpse of the three-dimensional Paul W.S. Anderson-helmed terror that awaits theatergoers on September 10.

The trailer accompanies the recent stills put out by game maker Capcom, which showcase film series protagonist Alice (Milla Jovovich) plus Claire Redfield (Ali Larter), Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller), Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) and "The Axeman."

I don't know why you guys are getting all angry at this film. It's been shit since part 2 and this iteration looks to be on par with Avatar in what its trying to accomplish. If it has some semblance of a story with some nice graphics, this shouldn't be too bad of an afternoon... though I remember RE 1 and RE 2 costing me only about 5 bux. These things cost almost 12 bux now...

If they don't constantly do that blur thing on Milla's face like they did in part 3, this should be an okay watch.

I used to lament Hollywood cranking out sequels because they couldn't think of new ideas. But now they officially can't do sequels either.

I loved this movie the first time I saw it. When it was called the Matrix. Rip offs.

How can they even tarnish the resident Evil name with this crap. I wanna meet the idiots who were deciding on the plot for this movie and decided that ripping off the matrix by adding some zombies would be a great movie. That trailer didn't even have words, why is she just flying around I think there were clones of milla, and we already know that huge dudes going to die because hes so slow.

I recently rewatched the first one with fond memories, having forgotten just how bad the script and pacing were. And fundamental logic.

Hard to enjoy a film when your mind won't stop screaming "THAT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! D:"

Magic would be fine, laserguns, sure, I love giant robots - I adore zombies - but why the lasers, why the god damn flying laser defense-fence, why dive through windows or install nerve gas in the shower.

I refuse to speak of the sequels.

God I seriously hate "Bro" directors, they have this illusion of what they think is cool, and the illusion that it fits well in a movie. I've never made a film before, but I know I could do a way better job than crap like this.
