Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 Hits iPhone

Previously outed by the man on the board himself, the touch-controlled iPhone and iPod touch rendition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is now available through iTunes at $9.99.

The 91.4MB download appears to include all the content of the old classic and then some--the listing claims thirteen skaters and thirteen-plus environments--though the soundtrack has changed across the past decade.

As one might expect, the iPhone and iPod touch port also sports an optional tilt-based accelerometer control scheme in addition to the "traditional" on-screen controls.

you can buy the real THPS2 for $10 or less these days. i hate how $10 is becoming the standard price for iphone games made by big name developers. i refuse to pay that much.

God I loved this game. Be great to give it another shot but I can only imagine how frustrating trying to pull off combos would be with the tactile-less screen.
