With the first full-fledged expansion for Dragon Age: Origins hitting North American today, digital distributor Steam has commemorated the occasion with a "Midweek Madness" sale on not the expansion, but the core RPG itself.

Both Dragon Age: Origins PC and Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition PC have been marked down by 33%--making then $33.49 and $43.54, respectively--with the prices good until 4 PM PST on Thursday, March 18.

  Everyone has a price point. Some folks think a $200 pair of jeans is totally worth it while others wouldn't spend more than $20. For those of us who paid full price, we've been enjoying the game for months, and if this dude wants to wait until it's at $25 that's his call.
