Resident Evil Creator's Vanquish Has No Multiplayer
by Brian Leahy, Mar 05, 2010 2:50pm PSTResident Evil creator and Platinum Games member Shinji Mikami's Vanquish will not have any multiplayer modes, according to a report by Eurogamer.
The third-person shooter, recently revealed in teaser and screenshot form, will opt for a offline-only experience so that Mikami and his team can "deliver the level of impact, the level of detail and the visuals [they] want to offer".
In my opinion, a handful of recent games either suffered because of or did not offer anything special with a multiplayer component. Mikami recognizes the risk, saying "it kind of boils down to whether you have the multiplayer but you don't have that much impact, and end up being like everyone else. Or even below par".
