Supreme Commander 2 Steam Fix: Re-Verify Cache
by Brian Leahy, Mar 02, 2010 10:11am PSTUsers are reporting that Supreme Commander 2, which uses Steamworks as its DRM, will not properly launch through Steam despite being released officially at midnight PST last night.
Users may see a "game is unavailable" error when attempting to launch Chris Taylor's latest RTS. If this is the case, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
Supreme Commmander 2 works now after you re-verify your game cache: Right Click "Supreme Commander 2" in your Game Library > Properties > Local files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache > Let it Finish > Launch Game.
I can confirm that this works and that the game is up and running.

You have got to be kidding me. I am starting to turn to the dark side. Just pirate the game and let your missing dollars do the talking. We, who pay for the games, want to install and play! If the makers of the game can't make something that works then what are we supposed to do? HACK? CHEAT? PIRATE? UNLOCK? STEAL?
And as far as the ubisoft ruining of Silent Hunter 5 with a CONSTANT INTERNET REQUIRED requirement... they have just completely lost any and all money from me and anyone I recommend purchasing decisions to...
