Dishwasher Samurai Sequel Announced
by Chris Faylor, Feb 24, 2010 1:20pm PSTI MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 developer Ska Studios today unveiled its next project, a sequel to its gory downloadable beat 'em up The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai.
Dubbed "The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile," the follow-up features a new engine and packs news weapons, two single-player campaigns (one for each playable character), plus a campaign designed for cooperative play.
"We are taking The Dishwasher to a bigger, better and more badass level," explained studio founder and series creator James Silva. "Fluid animation, insane combos, disturbing weapons and creeping mental illness are set to collide
in a very bad way.
As with the original, the sequel will be exclusively available on Xbox 360 as an Xbox Live Arcade download, and will be released "when it's done." That said, those attending PAX East (March 26-28 in Boston) will have the chance to go hands-on with the game.
