Red Steel 2 Trailers Show Off Swordplay

Two new Red Steel 2 trailers have recently emerged from publisher Ubisoft, showing off more of the Wii MotionPlus-requiring sword-slashing shooter due circa late March.

First up, a little vignette of fancy swordplay entitled Hidden Moves:

Next, something that Ubisoft refers to as Hero Bad Day:

Red Steel 2 hits North America on March 23 and Europe on March 26 in two flavors: standalone at $49.99 or bundled with the required Wii MotionPlus add-on at $59.99.

Was really excited about this project, but from what I read in Kotaku's latest hands-on about Red Steel 2, apparently Ubisoft couldn't manage to put 1:1 sword controls to this and the controls are still similar like in the first came. Not true swordfighting.

I guess I have to wait for Miyamoto to show to the world with Zelda how the 1:1 sword swinging is done.

Yup, a Ubi game I will be buying used as part of my Ubi boycott thanks to their new PC DRM. Looks great though! Finally a real Motion+ game.
