But everything I have read, compared to all of the screenshots I have seen, so far tells me the book has nothing to do with the game.
The cover of the book (featuring Sam in Washington D.C.) seems to have more to do with the game than the book itself... Sam doesn't even visit Washington D.C. in the book! And the whole story about Sam's daughter has barely been mentioned and is not at all factoring into the book's plot (I think that I only have 30 pages left to read).
I have never read any of the other Splinter Cell books (or a Tom Clancy book since "Red Storm Rising" for that matter) to compare it with.
Needless to say... even though they've messed with a good game formula I wasn't tired of yet... I can't wait for the game.
