Green Day Not 2010's Only Rock Band Game
by Chris Faylor, Jan 21, 2010 8:30pm PSTFollowing criticism that Green Day: Rock Band's main act isn't of the same caliber as that of last year's The Beatles: Rock Band, series publisher MTV had admitted that the dedicated Green Day project is "of course not going to be our only [Rock Band] game this year."
The tidbit emerged while MTV Games senior VP Paul DeGooyer was chatting with Newsarama, as noticed by Destructoid.
Though MTV Games, which owns Rock Band and Guitar Hero series creator Harmonix, has previously mentioned Rock Band 3, DeGooyer teased that it hasn't announced "any formal plans for a sequel game... yet," adding that while downloadable content serves to deliver new songs, it's easier to deliver "major upgrades" on a physical disc.
As for Green Day: Rock Band, the latest in the multi-instrument music game franchise hits PlayStaiton 3, Xbox 360 and Wii at some unspecified point in 2010, with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 buyers able to export its various songs into Rock Band 1 and 2.

Here's the clue, is there a gay part? It's not metal. Metal does not have faggy gay parts. Power metal has opera vocals. Heavy metal does too, to some degree. But its never before or after a "look at how hard I am" screaming part, it's never "lets show our soft side". It's opera vocals talking about battles and demons. There have been melodic breakdowns in metal, but when it comes off the same way fucking At the Gates does it, metal heads hate it. HATE.
Just please god stop calling this pansy crap metal. I like Avenged Sevenfold, I know how to play like 10 songs on the guitar FFS, but it is not metal just because it rips off metal.

For an education on real metal, check out the metal archives, it has over 70,000 bands listed with discography and user reviews. There is no entry for Avenged Sevenfold, or any nu-metal nonsense, not even the OG numetal band Coal Chamber.

If you are actually interested in real metal though, they even have bands listed by genre so you can start wherever you think you you'll like. BTW, if you do like death metal (please, I hope not Cannibal Corpse), CHECK OUT BOLT THROWER, they are the best brutal death metal band ever,
Lastly, if Dethklok from metalocalypse is your idea of metal, please, go away, you cannot be saved from terrible music choices.
