Yakuza 3 Screenshots Tease Western Release

New screenshots of Sega's Japanese mobster-fighting adventure, Yakuza 3, have been released, teasing the game's March-due arrival in North American and Europe while serving as another reminder that Japan gets Yakuza 4 around the same time.

Released in Japan and South East Asia back in February of 2009 as Ryu ga Gotuku 3 (Like a Dragon 3), Yakuza 3 sees series protagonist Kiryu Kazuma locking horns with the criminal underworld to protect an orphanage he's running with his adopted daughter.

Set in fictionalized versions of Tokyo cities Kabukicho and Okinawa that feature real-life landmarks and location tie-ins, the PlayStation 3 exclusive received the "Award for excellence" in 2009's Japan Game Awards' "Games of the Year Division."

We always seem to be at least one game behind Japan on this series :( Yakuza came out in the US around the time Yakuza 2 was hitting Japan. Yakuza 2 hit in the US after Kenzan and around the time Yakuza 3 was hitting there. We probably won't ever get Kenzan, but fuck, at least we're getting this one :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

  I tried the demo from japanese ps store on ps3 and i like it very much cant wait for this game its shame that they will cut part of running laydies busnies ;P to speed up translation ists a shame hope for maybe dlc for it when it will be realised (sorry for my writen english its not so good)
