God of War 3 Screenshots: Seriously Super-Sized

Fresh off Friday's fabulous frames, Sony's sent some super-sized screenshots showcasing several stubborn skeletons and a sentient stone skyscraper. <phew>

They're so super-sized, in fact, that we'll have the 10240x5760 originals up on FileShack here in a bit, as they're perfect for wallpapers, Photoshops and whatever else you find yourself doing whilst waiting for God of War III to hit PlayStation 3 in March.

Update: As promised, the originals are now available in a 596MB download.

I'd suggest refusing to use the word "screenshot"... maybe "concept art"? I do applaud you guys for doing your bit to point out the publisher's bullshit...

Does anyone know if the "sentient skyscraper" in the screenshots is the largest boss so far in the God of War series? I know there have been huge ones before, I just can't remember if there was like, an earth sized boss.

Some of these shots remind me of Diablo and makes me wonder whether the GOW and Diablo gameplay types will converge into a new action RPG hybrid without the clickfest I remember as Diablo.
