Serious Sam 3 on Track for 2010
by Chris Faylor, Dec 22, 2009 1:00pm PSTThough developer Croteam has had its hands full with high-def revamps of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, it's also been toiling away on an all-new entry in the chaotic shooter series, one it plans to complete within the next year.
"Serious Sam 3 is happening for sure," Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric told Destructoid. "It is currently planned to be finished in 2010." Little is known of the sequel, though Ribaric previously said it will "leave the cartoony look [of Serious Sam 2] behind."
Platforms for Serious Sam 3 have yet to be confirmed, though it utilizes the same Serious Engine 3 technology that powers Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter (PC, Xbox 360) and Second Encounter HD (coming to "PC and home console").
